About Us

Diagnose. Correct. Maintain.
Our philosophy of care.

Convenient, Expert, Compassionate, Local Chiropractic Care at Affordable Prices

New Health Chiropractic & Integrated Healthcare is an LGBTQIA+, practitioner-owner clinic. Our team is passionate about providing the highest level of care in a welcoming environment for all. Our team believes, and practices, a Diagnose, Correct, Maintain philosophy to care.

Diagnose.

Dr. Rich will discuss your pain and symptoms, followed up by x-rays, if necessary, and a thorough exam. Dr. Rich and the team will carefully utilize any necesary therapies to provide immediate pain relief.

Correct.

Your care team will focus on rapidly reducing and eliminating your pain and discomfort through initially frequent visits as we correct the initial problem. We know you want prompt pain relief – and that’s exactly what our goal is during this phase!

Maintain.

Once you’re back on track, your care team will work to develop a regimen that will support your on-going health and wellness. This can include strengthening, rehabilitating, improving range of motion or any number of other goals, specific to you.

Marcela Kapfer

Office Assistant
she/her/hers

Marcela is our Office Assistant – the face behind the phone and desk; greeting all of our clients the moment they walk through the door. Since joining our team in 2023, Marcela has made New Health her home away from home. Originally from Costa Rica, Marcela is fluent in Spanish and English and her passion for putting people first is obvious.

Marcela joined New Health in 2023 because of the positive experience chiropractic has had on her daily life. As someone who suffered debilitating migraines, she knows the power that frequent and professional chiropractic care can have – “I haven’t had a migraine in 20 years!”

New Health is a great place to work – it’s fun and inclusive: both are important to her. “No matter your language, financial situation or lifestyle choices, New Health wants to help you live a healthy and happy life.” As an active parent of two LGBQT+ children, the safe and welcoming space at New Health is a breath of fresh air!

Katlynn Wirag

Chiropractic Technician
she/her/hers

Katlynn has been a member of the New Health team since 2022. As a former patient of Dr. Rich (and member of the Inferno Embers women’s VLA professional volleyball team), she can personally attest to the importance (and success) of MLS therapy, muscle stimulation and regular adjustments. As chiropractic technician, she helps patients experience reduced pain, improved mobility, strength and flexibility through our standards of care.

Katlynn’s experience in the fitness space helped her connect with patients trying to maintain or regain their active lifestyle (or just stay in the game). When not in the office, you’ll find Katlynn playing or coaching (mainly volleyball), rollerblading Madison’s vast collection of trails or spending time with her family (including those cultivated by her own green thumb). Katlynn is also a sushi maniac – so you may find her at your local sushi restaurant next time you’re out.

The choice to join New Health was easy when the opportunity arose. As a sister of a sibling in the LGBTQ+ community, and an active supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, the safe, inclusive and welcoming space New Health offers everyone was, and is, exciting for Katlynn.
